Project management, art direction, site development, A/B testing and campaign strategy. LinkedIn is the best place for career specifics; this page collects some of the things I’ve built.

Design Strategies & Solutions intranet

I developed and managed the new DSS department intranet site. The project started with the department’s need to re-establish itself within the firm. Key goals included marketing its new brand, elevating its peer image, and streamlining content access and updates. My involvement ranged from project management and art direction to site development, A/B testing, and campaign strategy.

The Education Advisory Board

My primary role at the Advisory Board Company was web project manager for the higher-education platform, the Education Advisory Board. What started as a small marketing microsite quickly evolved into an elaborate multi-program site: five programs, hundreds of pages, and thousands of pieces of collateral (PDFs, videos, webcasts). Coordinating content submission, site enhancements, troubleshooting, and client education were daily requirements.

Campaigns

All projects were branded, but the best example is the rebrand and re-release of the Design Strategies & Solutions intranet described above. These are the pieces we used to build interest in the weeks leading up to the launch.

Email

A significant part of my time has gone into building and marketing email campaigns, including:

  • One-off announcements
  • Weekly and monthly program newsletters, with a template that holds the styles for four programs for quick changes
  • Meeting and webinar registration invitations. Built around a meeting’s brand, these were video landing pages, emails, or both.

Microsites

Requests for small content-marketing sites were common. Some were one-pagers; most ran to about ten pages.
