Flying is fun. I’ve been in biplanes, helicopters, and commercial planes of all sizes, down to “island hoppers” that seemed like ultralights that barely got off the ground. I really want to experience flying in a glider, but even more so, I want to learn to fly myself. So, to see if I like it, I signed up for a test flight. I would love to hear from anyone who is either in training or is a pilot.
What makes any sport fun, fascinating to watch and full of healthy competition? Spirit of the Game is the answer. Spirit places the responsibility for fair play on the players and, in turn, the Ultimate community. It is this Spirit that is lacking in other sports, and the reason players, well, ultimately, are drawn to Ultimate.
